Human Resources Director

Position

As ECC’s Human Resources (HR) Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations. The HR Director will develop corporate HR plans, support the human factor in the company, oversee HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. You will supervise HR personnel, handle employment relations and analyze data to report on HR metrics for informed decision-making. The HR Director will provide guidance to senior management and ensure HR needs align with the company’s objectives. 

Salary

$70000 - $90000 USD per year

Required Skills

Responsibilities

• Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety, etc. 

• Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development, etc. 

• Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards

• Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required

• Anticipate and resolve litigation risks

• Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and administrations of HR programs, including without limitation, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, occupational health and safety, and training and development

• Supervise and provide guidance to the HR personnel 

• Serve as the point of contact for employment relations

• Ensure the company’s compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations

• Identify staffing and recruiting needs, and develop and execute best practices for hiring and management 

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar related field

• Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience

• Thorough knowledge of HR management principles and best practices

• A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element

• Strong knowledge of data analysis and reporting

• Outstanding organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills

• Excellent knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Compensation

ECC offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, health and other benefits.
